North Battle Creek Reservoir
One of our favorite waters is Battle Creek Reservoir, which is 16 miles southwest of Rim Rock Ranch. Fishing is good in summer and late fall, with good numbers of rainbow and brown trout caught. No gas motor boats are allowed on the lake. Canoes, prams, float tubes, and small boats are recommended.

This is a picturesque lake with great views of Mt. Lassen. During the summer, this is a great place for swimmers.
